Cyprus Wine Run
Join us for an unforgettable journey through the heart of Cyprus’ wine country at the Cyprus Wine Run. This year, we’re taking the scenic roads and vineyards of Polemi, nestled in the Paphos District. The event is set for a start at the Metochi Cultural Centre at Polemi Village, that promises an authentic Cypriot experience. With the race scheduled for Tuesday, 5th of March, participants will enjoy a unique blend of culture, nature and running.
The route of 4 kilometers will guide runners through picturesque vineyards, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of Polemi, located at an elevation of 463 meters, you’ll run through landscapes full of the village’s naturally occurring red tulips and expansive vine fields.
This year, we are thrilled to partner with the esteemed 46 by Tsalapatis winery, a producer of exquisite wines from both native and European varieties. Participants will be treated to a bottle of wine from 46 by Tsalapatis, celebrating the rich tapestry of Cypriot winemaking.
After the Run
The Cyprus Wine Run is a cultural experience. After crossing the finish line, runners will have the opportunity to explore the location and indulge in wine tasting.
All participants will receive:
- Bus Transfers from Paphos City Centre to the Cultural Centre
- Race Number
- Technical T-shirt
- Bottle of Wine for all finishers
- Medal of Participation
- Wine Tasting
- Introduction to Wine & Village History
- Bus Transfers back to Paphos City Centre
First Man and First Woman will receive a Special Wine Package.

Collection of race numbers and the goody bag, can be made from the Marathon Expo (“En Plo” Exhibition Hall – 100 metres from the Pafos Castle) at the following dates/times:
Friday, 1st March: 09:00 – 13:00 & 14:00 – 18:00 hrs
Saturday, 2nd March: 09:00 – 13:00 & 14:00 – 18:00 hrs
Only in special cases, you can get your goody bags on race day. Your goody bag can also be picked up by a friend/family. Please e-mail us: marketing@cyprusmarathon.com

Prizes
OVERALL WINNERS
The first man and first lady of the Logicom Cyprus Marathon will be honoured with a wreath from olive leaves straight from the Marathon in Athens, which are immersed in gold; the same honour as the winners of the Cape Town Marathon and the Boston Marathon. The 2nd and 3rd Man & Woman will receive a trophy.
TEAM AWARDS
Teams with four or more runners will automatically be entered in the team competition (first four runners to count). Trophy will be awarded to the first team (overall).
Age Categories
The overall winners are excluded from the Age Categories. Trophies for the Top 3 of each Age Category.

Race Marshalls
Groups of volunteer marshals will assist in guiding runners throughout
the course. The Pafos Police will also keep a watchful eye on runners,
thereby, ensuring their safety.
